Kelsey grew up dancing and playing sports, so moving her body has always felt like home. After an injury brought Pilates into her life during rehab, she was hooked - it helped her rebuild strength, move smarter, and reconnect with her body in a whole new way. She creates a strong, inclusive, and judgment-free environment where everyone is encouraged to move at their own pace. You’ll be challenged, but never pushed past what’s right for your body. She emphasizes clear cues, smart progressions, and options so you can build strength and mobility safely and confidently. Besides Pilates, Kelsey is a TV/film actor with a love for dogs, nature, reading, and woodworking!
Hi, I’m Rebecca, and I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter at Sculpt+Sweat Studio! Fitness has been a lifelong passion, and for over 20 years I’ve taught kickboxing, step, and yoga to an amazing community. I recently completed my yoga re-certification, expanding my focus to include recovery, balance, and mobility work. I believe in leading by example, staying active through every season of life (I even taught kickboxing until I was eight months pregnant with my daughter, Julia!). Now we’re teaching together at her studio, which truly feels like a full-circle moment. As a long time Stratford community member and local business owner, being back in the studio feels like coming home. I can’t wait to move with you and help you feel strong, supported, and empowered.

Growing up as a multi-sport athlete playing soccer, hockey, basketball, volleyball, and rugby I developed a deep connection to athletics, teamwork and maintaining fitness and health. Through these sports, at 15 I began weightlifting to improve strength, conditioning and coordination and fell in love with it. Although Covid closed gyms, along with halting these organized sports I continued to stay active in any way I was able, such as longboarding with friends, hiking/running, rock climbing and weightlifting from home. After high school, I found the Fitness & Health Promotion program at Conestoga College which was ideal for the career I'd like to pursue, which is training! I am now a Registered Health & Exercise Practitioner, as well as a Certified Personal Trainer and whether it's personal training, or group training I love helping people reach their fitness and health goals! While at school, and through school I began teaching group classes at Anytime Fitness, Sun Life Financial and now Sculpt & Sweat! In my classes you can expect high energy, lots of modifications and corrections to make sure you are properly performing movements (without getting injured) and lots of fun of course! Can't wait to see you in class :)

Predictably unpredictable. I fell in love with fitness about 20 years ago. About 12 years ago, I fell in love with wellness - and yes - I distinguish between the two. I think as a Certified Personal Trainer and Registered Holistic Nutritionist, I have a constant drive and a "glass-half-full" approach to life. Within the last year I have taken particular interest in metabolism thermodynamics, the effects of training on the nervous system (and vice versa) but ultimately what is required in terms of activity, recovery, and fuel for optimum performance and wellness in a holistic sense. I am currently studying Sports Specific Nutrition at the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Throughout my fitness career I have participated in several pursuits to recharge or restore, whether it be by running and/or yoga and meditation. I have an extensive background in resistance training, and for leisure I currently participate in mixed martial arts such as Brazilian Ju-Jitsu and boxing. I enjoy challenging myself, but with serious care and attention to technique and proper movement patterns, always. I am so happy to be a part of this team and can't wait to connect with our members in terms of helping them achieve their goals.
